Yohann Benchetrit is a fine art photographer based in Paris, France.
He is carrying out a personal research around the symbol of the garden: a place of calm, safety, and joy, where an infinite source of marvels are to be explored and revealed. A fragile space, that will vanish eventually.
His work focuses on transforming reality using only the camera and what naturally appears before him. He purposefully excludes any extensive digital alterations, limiting post-processing to minimal brightness and color corrections.
His first solo show - Passing Bird - was hosted in Paris in May 2022. It examined the portrayal of a solitary bird in flight, a common although strongly evocative sight of our urban parks and gardens.
